Commodore84 is a rap group from Montreal with a unique retro sound that harkens back to the days of 8-bit video games and 80s nostalgia.
The challenge then, in developing the album art, wordmarks and marketing material, was to explore these retro elements while grounding them in the present.
The result is pixel art illustrations of sleek futuristic surfaces featuring outdated hardware and plenty of video game motifs that tug on the nostalgia heart strings.
